We have a bunch of fun events coming up these next two months. If you want to volunteer, please see the sign-ups below.

3rd Grade Cultural Heritage Project Night
Tuesday, April 9th, 6:30-7:30
3rd Grade students are researching various aspects of their personal background or the history of their local community.
The culminating activity of this project is Cultural Heritage Project Night on Tuesday, April 9th. Students will present to their families and to the community from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the gym and cafeteria.
Holt Night Out, WEDNESDAY
Bangers & Brews!
Wednesday, April 10th is a Holt Night Out at Bangers & Brews!
Just drop by Bangers & Brews at 2506 Willakenzie Road, across from Sheldon High School, between 3:00-8:00 pm, and mention Holt when ordering for our school to get a percentage of all sales!
 Kindergarten Family Reading Night
April 18, 5:30-6:45
Thursday, April 18th, families are invited to play reading games together and learn about easy ways to work together at home to improve reading skills.
Enter through Kinder wing doors.
Please RSVP, returning the flyers sent home, so we know how much pizza to order!
PTO Spring Carnival
Friday, April 19, 5:30-7:00
Friday, April 19th, 5:30-7:00 at Holt will be the annual school carnival. It's a FREE event and a night of fun for all!
Games, prizes, and Food Trucks! This will also be the first night of the Book Fair! See you there!

Electronics Recycling Competition
On-Site Collection & Drop-Off at Holt THIS WEEK!
Do you have useless or broken electronics piling up in your house? In March, April, and May, our school is participating in an Electronics Recycling Competition, with great prizes for the top collecting schools!
We have a collection box outside the office this week. We'll take anything that plugs in or takes batteries! |

Eugene School District welcomes ALL families who will have an incoming kindergarten student for the 2024/25 school year to join us for a special Welcome to Kindergarten Event on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 pm. We invite students and their families to join us for this fun-filled evening. The flyer below has additional information. We hope to see you there!

We are in the process of selecting a new math curriculum for Kindergarten through 10th grade. The adoption team is looking for your input and feedback on math instruction to help inform our process and better support families and guardians. Kidsports Playmakers
Kidsports Playmakers is an afterschool PE program that runs Tuesdays 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm, and Thursdays 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. See the Registration Link or Flyer for details.

La actividad culminante de este proyecto es la Noche del Proyecto de Patrimonio Cultural el martes 9 de abril. Los estudiantes se presentarán ante sus familias y la comunidad de 6:30 a 7:30 p. m. en el gimnasio y la cafetería.

¡El miércoles 10 de abril es una noche de fiesta en Bangers & Brews!

Evento de kínder en todo el distrito
