Eugene KITS Summer Program Application 2025

The Eugene Kids In Transition to School (KITS)  summer program is intended for students who will be entering kindergarten in Fall, 2025.  

During the KITS program, your kids will:

• Learn to make friends & cooperate
• Build beginning reading & counting skills

You will:

• Learn skills to reduce parenting stress
• Learn how to connect with your child’s school

KITS is free and open to all incoming 4J Kindergarten students! We encourage all interested families to apply. Families will be notified about the status of their application by the end of May.

Eugene Summer KITS is a 3 hour program and will run 4 days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from June 30, 2025 through August 7, 2025.

KITS will be offered at 2 regional locations with morning options as follows:

• Howard: 9:30 - 12:30
• Chavéz: 9:00 - 12:00

The Eugene KITS Summer Program follows the Eugene School District health and safety protocols.

Enrollment is based on a lottery system.  Please apply by May 16th.
