Holt Assistant Principal News

Dear Holt Families,

I am excited to announce that we will be welcoming Ms. Rebecca Boyd as Assistant Principal starting in the fall. This new position is a significant step in our capacity to support our students, families and staff.

Ms. Boyd brings over 20 years of diverse educational experience, including her most recent role as an Instructional Coach at 4J’s Gilham Elementary. She has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering inclusive and effective learning environments. Throughout her career, Ms. Boyd has led professional development, supported school goals, and created innovative systems to enhance educational outcomes. She has been recognized for her collaborative approach, data-driven decision-making, and dedication to student success.

Ms. Boyd is passionate about cultural competence and diversity, having served as an Equity and Inclusion Facilitator. In her spare time, she enjoys engaging in professional development and exploring new teaching strategies to support all learners.

We are thrilled to have Ms. Boyd join our Holt Elementary family and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to our school community in this newly created role. Please join me in welcoming her to Holt Elementary.
