Behavior Bolt for Parents
Courtesy is the Holt Bolt Character Trait of the Month
Teaching children courtesy is essential for their social and emotional development. By learning to be courteous, they can navigate social situations with greater ease and become well-mannered, empathetic individuals. Being courteous can be defined for kids as cleaning up messes, saying please and thank you, following directions the first time, and listening.

NEW DATE! Make school travel fun!
As we start the school year, consider options for the school commute. Walking, biking, skating, scooting, busing, or carpooling all support health, learning, safety, and the environment. If driving is the only option, try parking a few minutes away and walking the rest. It avoids parking lot stress and gives you extra time to connect with your child.
