VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for Friday's School Carnival
Volunteers are needed for Book Fair, concessions (popcorn, water/soda/chips, cashier), ticket table, Airplane Throw, Drop a Penny, Duck Toss, Flying Disc, Football toss, Goldfish Toss, Knock the Cans Over, Lucky Key, Plinko, Pluck a Duck, Ring Toss, Spin the Wheel, and for Clean Up.

Otherwise, we won't be able to offer these activities!
Walk & Roll to School, WEDNESDAY!
On Wednesday, May 7th, our school is participating in the Walk+Roll to School Challenge. We’re asking every family to use active transportation like walking, biking, scooting, skating or shared transportation like the bus or carpooling to improve our students’ health, learning and independence and to improve safety and traffic around our school and our impact on the environment!
If driving is your only option, you could “Park and Stride” by parking a short walk away from school and walking with your child the rest of the way. Students who ride the bus, carpool or park and stride still be able to enter the raffle for prizes.

School Carnival and Book Fair, THIS FRIDAY!
The annual School Carnival will be on Friday, May 9th, from 5:30-7:30! Carnival games will be throughout the school and in the gym. Tickets can be turned in to the prize store to select a prize. The Spring Buy One Get One Book Fair will be open during this event.
There will be food trucks, free face painting, concessions, and games!

Books n' Bunnies Summer Reading
Need a fun way to motivate students to read this summer. Blue Barn Farm and Sanctuary has a fun summer reading program for elementary students! Families can drop by Blue Barn on Saturday mornings starting May 17th through June 7th to get started. "Hoppy" Reading😄!

Mobile Pantry Food and Clothing Distribution, FRIDAY
The Food for Lane Co. Mobile Pantry runs a monthly FREE food and clothing distribution at the Sheldon Community Center. It will be inside the Community Center, in the Aspen Room, on the second Friday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00. |
Free Clothes, Shoes, & Coats, SATURDAY
Free clothes, shoes, socks, and coats for infants, children, teens, and adults at 1855 Cal Young Rd, Eugene. The store is open from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month (except for school Holiday weekends).
