Friday, December 20th, is a Holt Spirit Day, and it’s Pajama Day! Wear your comfy PJs, sweats, robe, or Holt spirit gear!
Parent Education Series – School to Heart to Home – Conscious Discipline Parent Nights
Being a parent is a hard job! At times, our emotions get in the way of our ability to access our own parenting brilliance. Wouldn’t it be nice to respond to conflict with rational thinking and problem-solving?
Join us every Wednesday from January 15th - March 19th (except Feb. 12 and Mar. 12) from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Holt Elementary School Library as we learn to regulate our emotions and stop reacting out of impulse or tradition so we can help our kids regulate their own emotions and reactions to every-day events and challenges.

PTO Reminders
Bottle Drop Fundraiser: BottleDrop fundraising blue bags are available year-round. Get a bag at the office or email HoltElementaryPTO@gmail.com with your kid's name and how many bags you would like. Then, drop the filled bags off at the BottleDrop redemption center or the school.
Book Nook Donation Request: Holt's parent-run Book Nook is looking for donations of AGE APPROPRIATE Graphic Novels, Manga, “Scary” books (ex. Goosebumps), Lego, Sports, Superhero, Video game books (Minecraft, Pokémon, Super Mario), and Chapter books. Drop any books off at the front office and let them know they are for Book Nook. Girls on the Run Coaches Needed: There is an exciting opportunity for three adults to serve as coaches for Girls on the Run. This is the second year Holt will offer this dynamic program for girls in grades 3-5. Last year, we had so many girls interested that there was a waitlist! Ms. Kim will work with coaches to ensure they have all the supplies, understand the curriculum, and have a great time. They typically run the program twice weekly on the Holt track in the spring. Once coaches are confirmed, Ms. Kim can register our site in the program. There will be a Coaches/Interest meeting in January 2025.
