ion coming home is today’s Monday Mailer, but the annual Holt Bolt, our jog-a-thon fundraiser, is back and will be on Wednesday, October 19th.
Please donate to Holt’s largest and only in-school fundraiser of the year! Help Holt students enjoy field trips, assemblies, artists in residence, and other enrichment opportunities. Your donation is very appreciated!
Families can help collect funds to turn in after the jog-a-thong, but you can also share and donate online at the link below!

The World Track and Field Championships brought a lot of excitement to Eugene this summer, but the excitement continues; your opportunity to become a track superstar is coming this fall! You are invited to participate in EEF’s inaugural district-wide 5K and Fun Run, which supports educational opportunities in 4J schools. A portion of team registration fees will be allocated back to each participating school.

Holt Spirit Day, Oct. 28 – Dress Up Day!
Friday, October 28th is the monthly Holt Spirit Day and this time it’s Dress-Up Day! Come to school in a favorite costume or fancy outfit. The following costume dress code will be enforced:
- NO weapons or weapon-like props
- NO masks (except with teacher permission in class)
- NO especially scary or gory costumes
- NO inflatable costumes
- NO dressing as another race, ethnicity, or culture
Kona Ice – Holt Shave Ice Fundraiser, Friday, Oct. 28
Want to support Holt and get a yummy shave ice when you pick-up at dismissal?
This time bus riders will be dismissed early if they brought money for shave ice, so they have time to buy and eat their shave ice before getting onto the bus.
Kona Ice is coming to Holt on Friday, Oct. 28 from 12:30-2:00, and is giving us a percentage of all sales this day.

School Cents Fundraiser at Valley River Center!
Shop, dine, enjoy services or see a movie at Valley River Center, then submit your receipts to earn $200 to $2,500 for Holt. School Cents runs from October 1 through March 31. Our school earns at least five points per dollar spent. Submit your receipts here:
At the end of the year, the schools with the most money spent will be awarded a money prize, up to $2,500.

Día del Espíritu de Holt, 28 de octubre – ¡Día de los disfraces!
El viernes 28 de octubre es el día mensual del espíritu de Holt y esta vez es el día de los disfraces. Ven a la escuela con tu disfraz favorito o con un traje elegante. El siguiente código de vestimenta será aplicado:
– NO armas o accesorios similares a armas – NO máscaras (excepto con el permiso del maestro en clase) – NO disfraces especialmente aterradores o sangrientos – NO disfraces inflables – NO vestirse como otra raza, etnia o cultura
