Monthly Walk+Roll to School Day, WEDNESDAY

The first Wednesday of each month is Walk & Roll Day! We encourage all students to walk, bike, carpool or ride the bus to school. If you live a long way from school, try parking a ten-minute walk from school and walking the rest of the way. Older students can walk on their own. Younger students will need to walk or bike with an adult.

Our goal is to reduce traffic and pollution around our school and to promote physical activity for our students. Students who ride the bus are doing their part by participating in the biggest carpool of all! Teaching your child to use their body to get to school and other places builds their confidence and keep them healthy.

PAHS (Parents at Holt School) Meeting, Jan. 12

Not this week, but next week on Thursday, January 12th at 6:00 pm in the library is this month’s PAHS (Parents at Holt School) Meeting. Join us to learn about upcoming events and how you can help. See you there!

The Early Learning Division is asking for feedback on your family’s experience searching for and using child care. Take the survey and help make a difference! Your input will help the state understand family needs and increase support for childcare providers. Parents and caregivers who complete the survey will receive a $20 Amazon gift card!

⚡️LAS CLASES SE REANUDAN EL MIÉRCOLES, ENE. 4 DE ENERO⚡️

Día Mensual de Caminar y Rodar a la Escuela, MIÉRCOLES

¡El primer miércoles de cada mes es el Día de Caminar y Rodar! Animamos a todos los alumnos a ir al colegio andando, en bicicleta, en coche compartido o en autobús. Si vives muy lejos de la escuela, intenta aparcar a diez minutos andando de la escuela y caminar el resto del camino. Los alumnos mayores pueden ir solos. Los más jóvenes deberán ir a pie o en bicicleta con un adulto.

Nuestro objetivo es reducir el tráfico y la contaminación en los alrededores del colegio y fomentar la actividad física de nuestros alumnos. ¡Los estudiantes que viajan en autobús están haciendo su parte al participar en el mayor viaje compartido de todos! Enseñar a su hijo a usar su cuerpo para ir a la escuela y a otros lugares fomenta su confianza y le mantiene sano.

PAHS (Padres en la Escuela Holt) Reunión, 12 de enero

No esta semana, pero la próxima semana el jueves, 12 de enero a las 6:00 pm en la biblioteca es de este mes PAHS (Padres en la Escuela Holt) Reunión. Únase a nosotros para aprender acerca de los próximos eventos y cómo puede ayudar. ¡Nos vemos allí!
