Welcome to Kindergarten 2026-2027! ¡Bienvenidos al kínder 2026-2027!

Welcome to our school! We are so excited to welcome your child and you to our kindergarten community. We look forward to getting to know your family and helping your child have a joyful, successful start to their school journey.

During the first two weeks of school, we will follow the Kindergarten Smart Start schedule. This staggered schedule gives children an opportunity to become comfortable with school in smaller groups while allowing teachers time to get to know each student and their individual strengths and needs. During Smart Start, students will work with all of our kindergarten teachers. Once we know our students better, we will finalize our class lists by Wednesday, September 16, and notify you of which teacher your student will have this year. Smart Start also includes a dedicated family conference time on September 17 and 18 before all students begin attending together on the regular schedule on Monday, September 21. Here are a few key dates to remember:

• Tuesday, September 8 = First Day of School for All Kindergarteners (early release @1:10)

• Wednesday, September 9 = Second day of School for All Kindergarteners/first day for all grades (*early release @1:10)
  

• Thursday & Friday, September 17 & 18 = No School for Kindergartners, Parent Conferences

• Monday, September 21 = All kindergarteners attend and follow the regular schedule

Your responses will help us learn about your child's interests, strengths, and any information that will help us create a positive start to the school year. ¡Bienvenidos a nuestra escuela! Nos entusiasma darles la bienvenida a usted y a su hijo/a a nuestra comunidad de kínder. Esperamos conocer a su familia y ayudar a su hijo/a a tener un comienzo feliz y exitoso en su trayectoria escolar.

Durante las dos primeras semanas de clases, seguiremos el horario Smart Start de kínder. Este horario escalonado permite que los niños se familiaricen con la escuela en grupos pequeños, a la vez que brinda a los maestros tiempo para conocer a cada estudiante, sus fortalezas y necesidades individuales. Durante Smart Start, los estudiantes trabajarán con todos nuestros maestros de kínder. Una vez que conozcamos mejor a nuestros estudiantes, finalizaremos las listas de clases el miércoles 16 de septiembre y les notificaremos qué maestro tendrá su hijo este año. Smart Start también incluye un tiempo dedicado a conferencias familiares los días 17 y 18 de septiembre, antes de que todos los estudiantes comiencen a asistir juntos en el horario regular el lunes 21 de septiembre. Aquí hay algunas fechas clave para recordar:

• Martes, 8 de septiembre = Primer día de clase para todos los alumnos de infantil (salida anticipada a las 13:10)

• Miércoles, 9 de septiembre = Segundo día de clase para todos los alumnos de infantil / primer día para todos los cursos (*salida anticipada a las 13:10)

• Jueves y viernes, 17 y 18 de septiembre = No hay clase para los alumnos de infantil; reuniones con los padres

• Lunes, 21 de septiembre = Todos los alumnos de infantil acuden al colegio y siguen el horario habitual

Para ayudarnos a conocer a su hijo antes de que comiencen las clases, por favor dedique unos minutos a completar nuestro formulario.Encuesta para padres: sus respuestas nos ayudarán a conocer los intereses y fortalezas de su hijo/a, así como cualquier otra información que nos permita un buen comienzo del año escolar.
