TUESDAY! Holt Night Out Fundraiser @Menchie's Frozen Yogurt
Head to Menchie's at Gateway on Tuesday, September 16. Bring this flyer or show it on your phone during checkout, and Holt Elementary PTO will get 20% of the sale.
FRIDAY @5:30! PTO Fall Family Social!
Join us at the PTO Fall Family Social this Friday, 5:30-7:00, where the PTO will be serving free ice cream sandwiches, popsicles, and popcorn, with Kona Ice available for purchase. Inside the gym, visit informational booths including SHIFT!, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Holt Elementary PTO, Holt BIPOC, Holt Accessibility, YMCA, and Eugene Rec. RSVP here, so we don't run out of ice cream!
Curriculum Night, Sept. 26th, 5:00-6:30
Holt Curriculum Night and the Title 1 Annual Meeting will be on Thursday, Sept. 25th. Connect with your child’s teacher and learn about your child’s classroom & school year! Grade-level meeting times will be:
5:00-5:25, Grades 1
5:30-5:55, Grades 2/3
6:00-6:25, Grades 4/5
There will be FREE pizza for families in the cafeteria from 4:45-6:30 and childcare for students 5 years or older in the gym.
Attendance Awareness Month
September is Attendance Awareness Month in Oregon. Regular attendance is linked to better reading skills in early grades and can predict high school graduation rates. Absences add up! Missing just two days a month is 10% of the school year!

Electronic Music Club Launches at Holt Elementary
We are excited to offer an after-school Electronic Music Club for 2nd to 5th graders starting October 7th through December 16th, from 2:20 to 3:30 PM at Holt Elementary. This program combines music and technology, providing all equipment and expert instruction to help students create their own compositions using recording software and musical control surfaces. Registration is open at electronicmusicclub.net/holt for the $225 course, inviting students of all musical abilities to explore creativity and technical skills in a fun, supportive environment. |

Bike Rodeo Coming to our School’s Playground!
Wednesday, September 24, After School - 1:10 pm
Let's celebrate biking! 4J Safe Routes to School and BEST are coming together to provide a fun way for our students to improve their biking skills and get excited about riding! Kids of all ages are welcome to ride through a bike skills course, blend smoothies with pedal power and learn bike safety. Students not in the BEST program must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bring your own bike or ride ours. Free!
