Holt will host a Meet Your Teacher event on Tuesday, September 2nd, from 2:00-3:00. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to view their new classroom and introduce themselves to their new teacher and classmates. Please plan on attending!

Kona Shave Ice after you “Meet Your Teacher” @2:30!
Get some tasty shave ice after you Meet Your Teacher at our Kona Shave Ice fundraiser! Kona Ice will be on the playground at 2:30, selling Shave Ice, and will donate a percentage of all sales!

The Holt PTO is hosting a Fall Fair & Family Social on Sept. 19 from 5:30-7:00. They will be serving ice cream sandwiches, popsicles, and popcorn for free. Kona Ice will be available for purchase. Families are asked to RSVP so they have enough treats available.

Garden Way Church: Free KidMax After School Program Wednesdays!
Join us for a free, fun-filled after-school program exploring learning and growing in exciting ways! KidMax will begin on September 17 and end on May 27. We will meet every Wednesday on early release days from 1:10-5:45. We offer an extended Awana Kids Bible Club from 5:45-6:45 for a registration fee of $35 per year. Space is limited. Make school travel fun!
This year, consider how your student gets to school. Walking, biking, skating, scooting, busing, or carpooling all support health, learning, safety, and the environment. If driving is the only option, try parking a few minutes away and walking the rest. It avoids parking lot stress and gives you extra time to connect with your child.

¡Haz que el viaje escolar sea divertido!
Este año, considere cómo llega su hijo a la escuela. Caminar, andar en bicicleta, patinar, usar el patinete, usar el autobús o compartir el coche favorecen la salud, el aprendizaje, la seguridad y el medio ambiente. Si conducir es la única opción, intente estacionarse a unos minutos y caminar el resto. Esto le evitará el estrés del estacionamiento y le dará tiempo adicional para conectar con su hijo.
