Meet Your Teacher, TUESDAY, 2:00-3:00
Holt will host a Meet Your Teacher event on Tuesday, September 5th from 2:00-3:00, the day before the first day of school.
This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to view their new classroom and introduce themselves to their new teacher and classmates. Please plan on attending!

Kona Ice will be on the playground at 2:30 selling Shave Ice and are donating a percentage of all sales!
From the Holt PTO: Volunteers Needed!
To help things start smoothly, there are a few volunteer needs.
- Adults (1-2 per shift) are needed to help with CROSSWALK duty during drop off and pick up.
- Help is needed (1-2 people each day) in the LUNCHROOM to monitor and steer kids in the right direction.
- Mr. Cortez needs help in the LIBRARY (up to 4 people each morning starting Tuesday) attaching new spine labels to the newly organized books.

Holt PTO (formerly PAHS) Meeting, Thursday, Sept. 14
Not this week, but next week on Thursday, September 14 at 6:00 p.m. is this month’s parent group meeting, the Holt PTO (Parent Teacher Organization).
This is where you come in! They are in need of growth and are looking for volunteers to continue the re-establishment of the organization.
The meeting will be held at the library and also at Zoom. There will be Spanish translation for participants in person and also at Zoom.

After School Chess Club – Sign up now for an After School Chess Club at Holt at Holt on Thursdays, 2:30 to 3:30 PM, starting September 21st. Students can try the club out before paying the tuition.

Holt Spirit Gear Orders Due Sept. 20th – The Holt School Apparel Store will be open until September 20th. Orders will be delivered to the Holt two weeks later.
School Supplies – Just bring a backpack and water bottle.
Morning Breakfast – Breakfast service begins at 7:30 and ends at 7:50. After they finish, students should walk to their Grade-Level Entrance.
