HOLT BOLT IS BACK! (Parking lot closed Thursday 8:30-11:30)
This year, the Bolt will be all about FUN! No envelopes, no money, just laughter and smiles and a long-awaited return to something mostly “normal.” Holt Bolt Fun Run will be the morning of Thursday, May 19. Because of covid, spectators will not be allowed on Holt campus. However, approved volunteers are allowed. The Holt Bolt fundraiser will return next fall. Until then, HAVE FUN and enjoy this much-anticipated and missed event. GO BOLTS!
If you are interested in volunteering, fill out the Volunteer Liability Waiver Form and the 4J Volunteer Background Check, which can be found on the 4J Volunteer Webpage, and email Tina Tague, PAHS Volunteer Coordinator, at tinasmeow@hotmail.com by Tuesday.
Please note the parking lot will be closed this Thursday 8:30-11:30 durning the fun run.

REPEAT: End of Year Events for 5th Graders
There are two events that are often held for 5th graders at the end of the school year to say goodbye to elementary school and send them off to middle school. One of them is a memory and autograph book, and the other is the 5th grade breakfast that happens the last day of school.
These events are organized and put together by parents of 5th graders. As we approach the end of the school year, we are reaching out to help parents that would like to help connect with each other, and volunteer to plan and organize these events. If you are interested in helping create the memory book, or plan the end of year breakfast, please respond to your teacher as soon as possible. There are some guidelines and traditions in place to help guide volunteers along. For these events to take place for the students, your help is needed!
REPEAT: Autographed Book Order for Bruce Hale Author Visit
On May 17th, Bruce Hale will virtually visit Holt K-5 students! He has written and illustrated over thirty books for kids, including Snoring Beauty, one of Oprah’s Recommended Reads for Kids. A wildly popular author for all ages!
Place orders using the Holt Author Visit Book Order Website by Friday, May 20th and Bruce will sign them, including a personalized message including your child’s name if you want!
REPEAT: Holt Spirit Day, May 27th
Superhero Day!!!
Friday, May 27th is a Holt Spirit Day and this time it’s Superhero Day!
Dress as a superhero, wear shirts featuring your favorite superhero, wear a cape, or simply wear your Holt spirit gear!
And remember, kids can earn a special Orange Ticket if they dress up or wear their Holt gear this day. Can’t wait to see your outfits!

¡HOLT BOLT ESTÁ DE VUELTA! (Aparcamiento cerrado el jueves de 8:30 a 11:30)
¡Este año, el Bolt será todo diversión! Sin sobres, sin dinero, sólo risas y sonrisas y un esperado regreso a algo mayormente “normal”. La carrera divertida del Bolt será la mañana del jueves 19 de mayo. Debido a la covida, no se permitirá a los espectadores en el campus de Holt. Sin embargo, los voluntarios aprobados están permitidos. La recaudación de fondos de Holt Bolt volverá el próximo otoño. Hasta entonces, diviértanse y disfruten de este evento tan esperado y añorado. ¡VAYAN A LOS BOLTS!

REPETICIÓN: Eventos de fin de curso para alumnos de 5º grado
Hay dos eventos que suelen celebrarse para los alumnos de 5º grado al final del año escolar para despedirse de la escuela primaria y enviarlos a la escuela media. Uno de ellos es un libro de recuerdos y autógrafos, y el otro es el desayuno de 5º grado que se realiza el último día de clases.
Estos eventos son organizados y montados por los padres de los alumnos de 5º grado. A medida que nos acercamos al final del año escolar, estamos tratando de ayudar a los padres que les gustaría ayudar a conectarse entre sí, y ser voluntario para planificar y organizar estos eventos. Si usted está interesado en ayudar a crear el libro de recuerdos, o planear el desayuno de fin de año, por favor responda a su maestro tan pronto como sea posible. Hay algunas pautas y tradiciones para ayudar a guiar a los voluntarios. Para que estos eventos se lleven a cabo para los estudiantes, ¡se necesita su ayuda!

Disfrázate de superhéroe, ponte camisetas con tu superhéroe favorito, ponte una capa o simplemente ponte tu ropa de espíritu de Holt.
Y recuerda, los niños pueden ganar un Ticket Naranja especial si se disfrazan o llevan su ropa de Holt este día. ¡No puedo esperar a ver sus trajes!
